Blepharoplasty: (eyelid surgery, eyelid lift)
Eyelid lift or surgery provides dramatic results creating a more youthful and rested appearance to the focal area of the face. The incisions are designed to fall in the natural crease of the upper eye lid and below the lash line in the lower lid.
Excess fat and skin can then be addressed and removed. If only fat removal is required from the lower eyelids, an incision placed on the inside of the eyelid can be performed. Eyelid surgery can be performed under local anesthesia in the office or as an outpatient under sedation.
